"Experiencing pure technology is incomparable," says Jochen, "and simply perfect for switching off." The steering wheel firmly in his hands, the smell of oil and gasoline in his nose, the chugging of the "limp" 40 HP engine in his ears - when Jochen wants to recover from an intensive week on the weekend, he prefers to drive his pre-war classic car along the country roads of the Siebengebirge near Bonn. However, he is drawn to faraway places on trips with his family - and then preferably on the water. Recently, he has been collecting new impressions most often on cruises. And collecting is meant literally here: Jochen always carries his photographic equipment with him to capture the most diverse motifs. Jochen was born in Mönchengladbach and studied business administration there after completing an apprenticeship as a bank clerk. Since 1998 he has been a shareholder of GAMBIT. And here, too, business management and technology play a central role in his life: Jochen has built up the area of data migration at GAMBIT and has designed many of his own migration tools and developed some of them himself. In the past 20 years or so he has also selected each member of his team himself and trained his employees to become experts for data migration.
