We spoke with Michael Ratte. He is one of the managing directors at GAMBIT and, among other things, responsible for Human Resources.
Why should a professional choose to join GAMBIT?
I believe there are many good reasons. For many who have recently chosen GAMBIT, working with the latest methods and technologies around SAP S/4HANA plays a central role. Not just hearing about consulting trends but actively shaping them in projects is incredibly exciting for many colleagues. Additionally, we stand out for our particularly appreciative and human approach to one another — a factor that often tips the scale when deciding on GAMBIT.
What motivates you in your daily work?
Working together as a team to shape things, make an impact, and still have fun with colleagues motivates and fulfills me. It’s simply great when we collaborate on projects and move them forward. New topics also often come up, which I enjoy because it keeps my work from ever becoming boring.
Is there an event in your career at GAMBIT that you particularly like to remember?
Moving into the office building designed according to our ideas in Troisdorf was definitely a milestone. It was a great feeling to achieve that with the company. I also often think back to my own start at GAMBIT. I joined as a professional myself and was able to carve my own path, develop further, and grow through my tasks. Being able to offer this opportunity to others today is very important to me in HR work.

People today often change jobs and companies several times in their lives, reorient themselves, or even pursue a second degree. Constantly evolving technologies also require continuously new skills.
That’s why it’s all the more important to stay curious, keep learning, and continue developing your qualifications. At our company, further training is therefore a central part of our personnel development concept—both professionally and personally.

We spoke with Jona Stubenrauch, who leads the SAP Supply Chain Management division at GAMBIT.
What’s special about a job at GAMBIT?
I love the variety. No day is the same. The projects and clients are incredibly diverse. Sure, the projects are meticulously planned and structured. But there are always new requirements that we consultants have to adapt to. I like that because it’s challenging and never boring. And, of course, the lunch breaks!
What sets GAMBIT projects apart?
For me, it’s definitely the team spirit. You really see its value when things get tough. But even then, everyone pulls together. I’ve experienced things differently elsewhere — and that’s why I’m truly proud that it works so well here and leads to successful projects.
And what makes GAMBIT a great employer?
What can I say? The company is simply great! No, I mean that seriously: you get the space you need to push your own ideas forward. You can develop yourself and take on responsibility.
