Are conditions on the global market or a new competitor putting a company under pressure? A corporation wants to use technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins or Big Data for itself? A medium-sized company has bought a business and now needs to bring the two existing IT systems together? In exactly such cases we are at hand - from the analysis and initial planning of a measure, the implementation of a system to the application management in the following years.

GAMBIT Consulting is an SAP and IT consulting company. More than 250 consultants work for GAMBIT. Our company headquarters are located in Troisdorf near Cologne. In addition, we have a location in Risch-Rotkreuz, Switzerland - and recently we are also represented in Berlin. SAP has awarded us SAP Gold Partner status and several seals of approval for our services.

We advise companies that want to introduce a new software system. We support corporations that need to clean up their data. And we help companies that want to implement their processes more efficiently and faster - from DAX companies to hidden champions from medium-sized businesses. We provide ideas for strategy, develop feasibility studies and support our customers with our knowledge of data migration, SAP S/4HANA or IT architectures.

In this way, we help companies with their IT and their SAP systems so that their processes run even more efficiently, they can produce their products even more successfully, or they can launch new services and offerings. We want our customers to be able to focus on their own growth and core business because they don't have to worry about IT (anymore).

We love to solve difficult questions. There is a new SAP system - we know it and introduce it to our customers so that their IT is up to date. There is a standard SAP solution - we customize it to meet our customers' needs. There is no solution yet - we develop it.

In everything we do, we want to achieve the best for our customers - for you and your company. That's why the founders of our company set out nearly 25 years ago, and that's what drives us to this day.

Whoever works with GAMBIT will also notice: We do not only introduce the latest technologies and SAP systems, we also use the latest tools in our project work. In the area of Application Management Service (AMS), for example, we provide our customers with their own ticket system in the form of the GUMBUG ticket portal. This allows them to easily send their support requests to us.

In addition, we use tools such as Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft OneNote, MS Teams or Skype for Business to collaborate with our customers. In this way, we handle collaboration and communication in projects more transparently and faster than with conventional tools such as Microsoft Excel. Overall, this approach leads to more successful projects and better results - as our experience has shown.

Last but not least, we also want to be successful as a company ourselves - but not at any price and as an end in itself. On the one hand, we want to create jobs and give people and their families a perspective. On the other hand, we want to work together in a way that is characterized above all by appreciation and good cooperation.

Sure, we could have done a chronicle at this point (and we even started doing it), but then we realized: that doesn't fit us at all.

There are a few outstanding dates, it's not like that. 1995 for example, the year of our foundation. Ten young people set out together at that time.

They took a risk and wanted to create something of their own. GAMBIT starts as a spin-off of HT Troplast, specialized in SAP from the beginning. Or the year 2013, our move into our office building at the Junkersring in Troisdorf - this is also a milestone that would certainly have appeared in a chronicle.

But for us, GAMBIT is much more than just a few years or a list of facts. Or would you like to read when we were at the CEBIT in Hannover for the first time or when SAP awarded us as "SAP Gold Partner"? (If you really want to know, we'll be happy to tell you).

But what is much more important is that we have always been a partner to our customers, that they come to us and feel comfortable with us. Much more important are the relationships we have built up and nurtured over the years - with customers and employees, with supporters and companions. And much more important is the fact that we still have a working atmosphere that is truly family-like. But no chronicle can tell you all that.

Yes, it's true that many companies claim to be a "big family. But with us, it really is true. Most of our founders are still on board, as are many of our first employees. We have worked hard together, experienced numerous successes (and, admittedly, one or two failures), traveled together, watched our colleagues' children grow up, celebrated together in private and rejoiced together over new projects, new customers or simply over a rainbow.

This spirit, this understanding of cooperation, still characterizes us today. And that this is the case is also noticed by those who start as new employees at GAMBIT - and thus become part of our community and our history.

Those who come to GAMBIT should do so with joy every day, they should feel the work as a part and an enrichment of their own life. This is still true today. And it will be true in the future.
