Alex works as a system administrator in GAMBIT's internal IT department, which is managed by Marcel Wipprecht. He looks after the company's server and network environment and advises his colleagues on IT issues.

The digital architecture of a system is usually only noticeable when it is faulty. That's why Alex works day in, day out to ensure smooth workflows for his employees.

Never stop exploring

"Knowing what will be relevant in IT tomorrow is part of our job," says Alex. Even though this is no easy task, he particularly appreciates this constant learning process in his work.

Communication is key

The IT department can quickly seem like an alien world to the rest of a company. Communication at eye level is therefore particularly important for solving problems, says Alex.

Delicious balance

Alex not only has a few skills in front of the keyboard, but also at the chopping board. He loves cooking for his family, both his own delicious creations and the kids' favorite dishes.
